Fall 2022 Session

Our adult community ensemble, The Guitar Chamber Players, meets every Monday 7:30-9:30pm. The Guitar Chamber Players is an ensemble group for guitarists of various backgrounds, from adult amateurs to professional guitarists and teachers. It is open to guitarists aged 18+. (Caregivers, guardians, and adaptive assistants must also be at least 18 years of age).

Designed for the adult enthusiast, ensemble skill levels range from post-beginner to professional. An emphasis on musicianship and skill development, in addition to performance, makes this a unique opportunity for the adult guitar enthusiast. The 2023-24 repertoire includes Phillip Glass, Darin Au, J. Francisco Munoz, Annette Kruisbrink, Scarlatti, and more.

$250 per semester or $450 for full year if paid by October 1.

Guitar Chamber Players

The Guitar Chamber Players is comprised of guitar players of various backgrounds, from adult amateurs to professional guitarists and educators.

The size of the ensemble varies from year-to-year but typically totals 15-20 players. The Guitar Chamber Players are active during two sessions each year – one in the Fall and one in the Spring.

The Guitar Chamber Players ensemble has been active for a number of years and began its affiliation with Guitar New Mexico in January 2013.
